Eat Well 2010 Calendar

EAT WELL 2010 CALENDAR - ORDER NOW!

Eat Well Tasmania invites you to order the Eat Well 2010 Calender at the low price of $10.00 a copy, including postage.


This colourful A3 size calendar has been developed through the 2009 Fruit & Veg Month Calender Competition and showcases artwork from school children throughout Tasmania (see reverse for details). It also includes a 'What's in Season' each month to help with selecting fresh, local fruit and vegetables, cooking with kids recipes and helpful hints for aiming for 2 serves of fruit and 5 serves of vegetables each day.

ABOUT THE EAT WELL 2010 CALENDAR

In August 2009 as part of Fruit & Veg Month, Eat Well Tasmania gave Tasmanian schools the opportunity to enter a Calendar Competition.  The criteria for entry was that students needed to send in artwork depicting either their favourite fruit or vegetable, the Go for 2 & 5 messages, or Fruit & Veg Month in general. Those selected were chosen for their combination of image along with the relevance of their statement to the message that eating fresh fruit and vegetables on a daily basis is beneficial for good health.

 

Eat Well Tasmania would like to thank all the schools across Tasmania that contributed entries in the 2009 Fruit and Veg Month Calendar Competition.  We are delighted to acknowledge those students featured in the calendar:

The "Start Them Right booklet, a Parent's Guide to Healthy Eating for Under Fives" is based on up to date best practice. This booklet is for parents and carers to help in the feeding of young children.You can order bulk hard copies of the booklet at $3.50 each; a discount applies for 500 or more copies.

A highly practical booklet it covers issues such as:
