Fruit and Veg Month 2010

August is Fruit & Veg Month!

Eating enough serves of fruit and vegetables is essential for a healthy diet and growth and development of children and teenagers to maintain health into adulthood.  Including fruit and vegetable everyday can help to prevent diseases such as cardiovascular disease, type II diabetes, obesity, and some cancers.

Get involved this year by participating in our healthy lunch competition, or celebrating within your school using our school activity ideas!
